At Mississippi Bail Training Institute, our courses are built around one goal: to prepare you to succeed as a professional bail agent. Continuing Education (Annual 8-Hour Requirement)

Mississippi law requires 8 hours of continuing education each year to maintain your bail agent license. Our CE course keeps you current with:

  • Changes in Mississippi and Louisiana bonding laws
  • Industry updates and best practices
  • Practical knowledge that applies in the field

Available both online and in person, this class meets all state requirements for license renewal.

Pre-License Course: Become a Bail Agent

This 40-hour state-mandated course is required for anyone seeking a Mississippi bail agent license. Delivered over four days, either online or in person, this class covers:

  • Mississippi bail law and licensing regulations
  • The role and responsibilities of a professional bail agent
  • Real-life case scenarios from three decades in the field
